Book Review: Unplugged by P.D. Quaver

Unplugged by P.D. Quaver is a fiction novel that explores what life would be like if modern teens were forced to live without their laptops, cell phones, tablets and other modern devices.

The teens enrolled in 'The Natural Path'--a school for device-addicted kids run by the smooth but vaguely

sinister Dr. Zarkov--quickly find out when the school turns out to be nothing but a front for an elaborate kidnapping plot. Trapped on a remote tropical island and facing what looks like certain death, they will have to band together if they hope to defeat their ruthless captors. But it will still take all their ingenuity just to survive...  A realistically detailed and thrilling story by novelist P.D. Quaver which will appeal to young adults (13 and over).

Review:
These are the type of books avid young readers search all over for. Now these device-less kids have to find a way to free themselves. A solid and thrilling storyline packed with surprises, never allowing you any time to get bored. I found myself caught in the excellent storytelling and grew fond of the main characters, I must admit, the quality of it clearly separates this book from the rest in its category.
