Book Review: HEALTHY SKIN, GORGEOUS YOU!: Natural Anti-Aging Skin Rejuvenation Without Botox, Fillers or Lasers by Dr. Richard J. Climie
Book Description:
Are you worried that your youthful, clear skin is beginning to look old, dull and tired? And that blemishes and wrinkles are appearing where they hadn’t before? Are you tired of buying creams, serums, cleansers and treatments that don’t seem to do anything except irritate your skin and empty your wallet?
In Healthy Skin, Gorgeous You!, Dr. Climie demonstrates how you can use individually formulated gentle, soothing and affordable skin care products to turn back time and look years younger without painful and expensive laser, fillers, Botox or dermabrasion.
His case studies with before-and-after photos demonstrate his patients with major improvement in their aged, blemished, wrinkled and often sun-damaged skin within a few weeks of commencing treatment. For example, he asked a few of his medical colleagues to estimate the age of a patient who’d been using a cream he prescribed for six months. The general consensus was that she was “in her mid to late 50s at the most.” They wouldn’t believe she was actually 74 years old until he showed them her original photos. For her, time is definitely marching backwards!
With easy to understand explanations and visual aids of how common skin problems occur, Healthy Skin, Gorgeous You! is an invaluable guide to safe, effective, painless and affordable skin care and skin rejuvenation for men and women of all ages.
My Review:
This book is one of the most comprehensive guides to anti-aging skin care that I have ever come across. The simple yet powerful information provided throughout the book gives guidance to readers on how to ‘feed’ their skin by promoting dietary suggestions to improve the health of the skin to get great results. In an easy to read format this reference guide utilizes information about the latest in health and nutrition findings and skin care techniques to reduce the signs of aging skin. In addition, Dr. Climie’s approach to skin care also promotes that the skin has the ability to self-heal through the use of natural, non- irritating and affordable products. This book is well written and I could clearly sense that the author wrote it from a genuine and compassionate place, really wanting to help the reader to be informed about alternatives to plastic surgery to create the appearance of more youthful skin. The author has filled this book with a lot of useful information, case studies, great tips and advice that help simplify the issue of taking care of aging skin.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone dealing with the signs of aging who desire to have healthier skin with a more youthful appearance.
