Book Review: World War III: Not How You Imagined by James Strait

Book Description

It had been over seven decades since the world had been officially at war. But 2017 was that modern
moment where the forces of good, would again need to ally themselves to combat the forces of evil. And so it was, the United States and her Allies would do battle with the nation of North Korea. But this time, there was a twist. While the battlefields on the Korean peninsula were filled with the sights and sounds of modern militaries going toe-to-toe, much of the war was taking place on America's streets.

Review:

I found this book to be an interesting and memorable read. James Strait has created an action-packed futuristic military drama filled with unique characters and a steady paced engaging plot with enough twists and turns that had me hooked. Without giving away too many details the author dives into a plausible reality where a third world war breaks out with North Korea and much of the fighting takes place in the United States.  The fictitious concept of how this would happen was intriguing and kept me on the edge of my seat.  It was obvious that Strait had a military background as the characters and minute details about military tactics were well defined and North Korean facts were well researched.

Action-packed with futuristic technology, politics and war drama, if you enjoy military fiction you’ll love this book.  I highly recommend.
